The game is amazing and experimenting with different setups and champs is fun but mechanics like this make me feel stuck to what I am using now. This strongly discourages buying and opening shards because the 'chosen ones' that have masteries are the ones you are committed too. This is the second gatcha game I am playing (first one was Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes I played for a few months) and cant understand why there is such a boring mechanic in the game. You still have to grind 3 days for just the masteries. After you are done with the first team you can swap out someone and bring a fresh recruit in so all the scrolls go to that champion. So if you spend all the free energy you receive and make sure you never waste anything by being on the limit it will take 10750 / 740 = 14,5 days of constant grinding to be done with the boring grind. The energy you get from events, clan activity and other sources are not taken into consideration. This totals to, when level 60, 740 free energy per day. We generate 1 energy per 3 minutes and get 2 free refills from playtime and quest every day. Total energy cost to have the first 5 man squad completely mastered: 10750 energy for basic scrolls: 500 / 28 = 17.9 runs * 14 energy = 250 energy On Minotaur 15 the average drop per run for each type of scroll is:Īssuming we are not wasting any scrolls by receiving less than the average because the champion that receives them needs less to have the maximum of that type we are looking at these amounts of runs and energy needed to get the whole team fully mastered: If we multiply it all by 5, since we have a fresh team, we need 500, 30 respectively of each scroll. I made some calculations on how insane this grind actually is if you start with a team without any masteries completed yet:Įach champion needs 100 basic scrolls, 600 advanced scrolls and 950 divine scrolls to be fully mastered. Because of the event I was putting the grind on hold. Some weeks ago I started the Minotaur grind because I had enough level 60s to beat Minotaur level 15 easily.
